The
Birch Aquarium
and Museum at the Scripps
Institution of Oceanography 
is the education
and public outreach center for one of the world's premiere oceanographic research
institutions. The Birch will provide instruction in oceanographic science,
challenging lab activities and an exciting array of field excursions, including
an all day expedition on a vessel equipped to deploy oceanographic sampling
equipment.
The NTC Foundation:Students
will be housed in the historic center of the former Naval Training Center,
now known as Liberty Station. The UnderSea Camp building will in the heart
of the Civic, Arts & Cultural center. Lectures will utilize the full Center
grounds as well as the creativity center assets to feel a part of San Diego's
rich ocean exploration history.
